**Here is a breakdown of some of the most exciting things we have in store for VerifiedCreators 2.0:**


**Improved user-verified profile with multi-chain and transaction capabilities:** We are improving the user-verified profile to unleash the power of on-chain and social verification technology. First of all, we are bringing Ethereum NFT and also enabling multi-chain and transaction capabilities on the verified profile. With this, creators can connect unlimited blockchain identities (wallets) to their verified profile with any blockchain integrated with the VerifiedCreators platform. Collectors/investors or fans can buy NFTs or tip creators directly on their verified profile.

**Full-blown exclusive NFT marketplace for verified creators. DeSo and Ethereum:** Currently, on the DeSo blockchain, there’s no working NFT marketplace dedicated to creators. And on the global Web3 ecosystem, there is no safe NFT marketplace designed to curb the scam menace. With an exclusive NFT marketplace that only features NFTs from verified creators, we can solve the biggest problem plaguing the web3 creator economy.

**Partnership and integration with growing NFT marketplace and web3 platforms, OpenSea, Rarible, and more:** We believe the most effective way of achieving our goal is integrating and partnering with established and growing web3 marketplace and platforms. We will be integrating Rarible/Opensea and partnering with a couple of other creators focussed Web3 platforms.

**Improvement of the user verification tool:** The non-KYC verification tool is the access door for all the creators on the VerifiedCreators platform. A better user verification tool will lead to a better experience for creators and also ensure there’s no chance of scammers gaming the system.

**Subscription model migration and payment/tips with $VC, $DeSo, $ETH, and $USDT:** You have to purchase a verification NFT to become verified on VerifiedCreators 1.0. We started VerifiedCreators with super limited resources, so we wanted to build the simplest version of our platform to gain users while reducing the barrier to entry. NFT as payment was the simplest way to collect payment on VerifiedCreators rather than spending months of resources on developing a subscription-based model.

The NFT user experience is clunky, and it is almost impossible to build a sustainable platform on such a model. That is why we are making the difficult decision to move to a subscription-based model while providing more value to our creators. Subscription payment on VerifiedCreators 2.0 will be made using the VerifiedCreators token ($VC), $DeSo, $ETH, and $USDT.


# Team

The creator of VerifiedCreators is Shedrack Anuforo, [AKA Dracklyn](https://diamondapp.com/u/Dracklyn). Dracklyn is a shrewd founder and seasoned product designer who has led the development of dozens of products globally. In early 2021, after Joining Bitclout, Dracklyn discovered the correlation between scams and the enormous earning gap between established creators/organizations and emerging creators, which gave birth to VerifiedCreators. 

Dracklyn has persevered in building and growing VerifiedCreators, despite having a small team, facing two bear markets in less than two years, and having mainly self-funded the project. This is a remarkable achievement considering that hundreds of other projects with better circumstances have failed in the same ecosystem.

With over 300 verification applications since launched, VerifiedCreators has gained recognition and support from top web3 and web2 organizations like the DeSo Foundation, Alchemy, Segment, Notion, and AWS.


# Tokenomics

The VerifiedCreators token ($VC) is a deflationary ERC-20 token (with an initial 40,520,000 fixed supply) created on the DeSo blockchain. The VerifiedCreators token ($VC) will be the primary token for verification fee payment/subscription and API widget subscription on the platform. The token will power the DAO functions and automatically grant holders access to the VerifiedCreators' exclusive community. 20% of the total revenue generated from verification fee payment/subscription and API widget subscription fee will be converted to $VC and burned monthly. The burn wallet address will be available upon completion of the general token sale for monitoring.

We allocated 9% of the token supply for public sale via community fundraising, and this would be the final public token sale/fundraising that we conduct. Any unsold tokens will be added to the VerifiedCreators treasury. However, if you weren't able to purchase tokens during the public sale, you can always acquire VerifiedCreators tokens ($VC) on the DeSo DEX trading market.
