I like unlimited duplicate names. As member.cash covers multiple blockchains, we inevitably get duplicate names. We allow them all. I like the associations helping to indicate which name is most authentic *for you*. I don't like the suggestion of verifying names - this creates a point of centralization. 

How does that work though when there are more than one creative using a same username? Confused. I like the badge idea, but what if someone is more savvy than a creator and somehow preemptively grabs the badge? It’s tough to keep on top of tech stuff and still be creating content as a priority.

*anything* to avoid this "vetting" shit. it's a pest. nothing else it is. it's a fundamentally flawed thinking line, that corporations & governments brainwash people with; this bad that it doesn't appear to the affected anymore. it's a crazy mess imo, that should be, including the existing various sorts of "verification badges" be thoroughly, and restless eradicated from this platform. if we happen to be *any* serious about being a platform of freedom (about which i have my high doubts, for a variety of reasons, that by far do not fit into 560 chars).
