Today was All Saints Day and this evening began the All Souls Day here in Mexico.

It was my first time to actually celebrate it and so I made a small altar to pay tribute and honor and remember my dearly departed.

My dad, Humberto Flores, and my mother in law, Lillie Burden are pictured here. I made some of their fave foods and some traditional Mayan foods I’ve never heard of before… I bought those😁. Then I lit the copal with incense and thought about them.

It’s a lovely tradition♥️🇲🇽♥️
