Ski day today! In perfect weather and conditions. The valleys are in clouds. It‘s an inversion: it‘s colder in the valleys (in the fog) than on the mountains.

We‘re on the relatively small and quite unknown ski area „Stoos“. It‘s perfect for families, and absolutely not overcrowded, like Zermatt or Saas-Fee are for example.

Note about „small ski resort“: it is still large enough so that you cannot use every slope on one single day. About 35 kilometers of slopes. Two mountain-peaks. I wouldn‘t call this „small“. It‘s only small in comparison to the famous ski resorts in the Alps.
