Good question. This piece of pop art war propaganda has always stood out to me. My Father was born in germany around the end of ww2 and lots of his art was in influenced by that trauma. But mainly Rosie is a sign Of female empowerment that I feel resinates with my self and my Moms era. Like my Father She is a extremely self centered Artist who felt the need to Play the role of a bread winner and in the climate she grew up in-with the odds stacked against her. Se found a way to persevere. To be honest the odds were stacked against her so we had some hard times but. This Image art piece is a self portrait I made of my self. Taking in to account my origin. Growing up with no dad around and mom trying to fulfill the role of a “Man” at the time. I took that photo of the Rosie piece at our 12 week appointment for my wife’s pregnancy with my Daughter. Put a mustache on it to show it’s a man with very feminine sensitivities but also masculine. (She is flexing her arm up like a fallacy) and the arm fits right In the middle of the Vesica Pisces! So I feel like it’s kind of a punk rock “oi fuck you I don’t have to fit your in to your concept of being masculine man” as I feel this has been a burden on my life that I have only recently grown Out of. Now I allow my self to be my self. And that was the second NFT I ever sold. On Tez. Via kalamint. Thanks for asking. 🥱
