🚨 Is @DeSo truly decentralized?
đź’Ą Time to find out!
🧪 “Proof of Decentralization” experiment.
✂️ TL;DR – sync without core nodes - see if the chain keeps running.
Why does this matter?
Picture a major outage, a funding freeze, legal trouble - or just scheduled maintenance.
If the blockchain stops when a few servers go dark, that’s not decentralization.
This will test if a small, independent group of nodes can keep the network alive without the official servers.
Two possible outcomes:
âś… Blocks continue to be added - proof it can stand on its own.
❌ It halts - and we learn where it needs to improve.
No drama. No blame. Just facts.
Decentralization should be testable — and that’s exactly what we’re doing. 🔍
